They're similar. I think if you fail to see
any similarities, you're lying to yourself. But whatever haha. It's not like there's anything wrong with it. The union jack flag is everywhere right now in Japan. Like how the american flag was before it. Ayu just happened to do it before Kuu on an album cover.
I can guarantee that if Kuu's album was released before RnRC, everyone here would be saying Ayu's album looks like Kuu's. And would be saying how Ayu fans are crazy for not seeing anything similar.

Of the PV previews, they all look great! I'm most excited for the Megumi no Hito video
