Videos/pictures of her pre-Gaga prove she's not ugly, she just has very strong features and she doesn't care to change them or try to be prettier just to fit into the definition of "the American Pop Star." She's not Britney Spears and she doesn't have to look like her either. To make it so far and to become so big without being a pop-diva (no pun intended) prototype says something. She may be "ugly" by Hollywood standards, but then again, so are the rest of us LOL.
