I forgot to say that yes, I did get vol 39 via Noppin, I think it cost me around $15 all together including fees and shipping.
I only ever saw vol 1 sold by itself once, and it was 4,000 yen. I just didn't have the money at the time, and kind of didn't want to pay that much in the first place.
