That's the exact same statement my boyfriend always gives, whenever I mention house music. He too -as I think you are?- is a vocal trance enthusiast
I think there's a connection there! Vocal trance, to me, is just filled with climaxes. They have small buildups, with lots of overkills (overkill here, not being a bad thing) on top of each other almost.
I love house music for its more subtle emotional qualities, like some dubstep.
