I understand if you meant to put that statement toward house music (exactly why I don't like house - no emotion), but as far as electronic dance music in general you have it all wrong. Trance can be sexy too - in fact, eerie, sexy, bad ass trance is my favorite kind!
You can't tell me that track is not sexy - the way it enters at 1:40 and creeps in at 1:49, then the beat kicks in shortly after. This song was originally mistagged as "Embrace Yourself" when I first heard it and I am not lying, I got aroused listening to it. Lol!
I could post a lot of emotional trance songs, some of the most emotional having no words at all and I feel those are the most powerful in terms of expressing emotion - when it does it so well with melody and production alone.

While I agree with you that EDM is full of emotions and feeling, I strongly disagree that House doesn't have any emotion. There's plenty of house that has emotion in it, just maybe in a different way than trance.
For example, a lot of Fred Falke's remixes are brimming with emotion, like his remix of One Republic's All The Right Moves. When I hear it, I feel so much joy from it as well as so much other emotions and special feelings that I can't even begin to describe.
Also listen to his remix of Burns - First Move feat. Seb
The melodies and the production has so much sadness and melancholy in them. I feel it speaking straight to my heart.
Here's another very expressive house remix of Kelis - Fireworks by Richard X (for some reason it's pitched up from the normal pitch). It's a very sensual remix full of feeling.
