Spoiler:
Lady GaGa sat down with NME Magazine for a bit of a chat about her upcoming album, Born This Way. With two singles already on the loose, the whole world is anticipating what other musical gems will be hidden on the disc for us all to enjoy. During the interview, GaGa played a few cuts of some songs that she was particularly proud of.
She gave a sneak listen to Government Hooker, which reportedly "reeks of Berlin sex clubs," Bloody Mary, which Gaga explains is sung from the perspective of Mary Magdalene and describes as "a spooky rave ballad" and finally, Americano a "really politicized song about immigration."She went on to add that this coming album will play a bigger part in her life than perhaps the first two, considering the impact she is trying to make with it. She explained:
"I thought I was the cultural *****storm. I walk into a room, people write about me. It wasn't until I release Born This Way [the single] that I realized how completely vacuous everything had been. I realized now what a small impact I've really had, and how massive the impact is that I'm about to have."
Understatement. This record is going to blow everyone away!!!
As for Judas, which she refers to as "Bad Romance Version 7," she reveals that the song is very important to her, but that the video will be more so. She reveals it will involve motorbikes, death and, in the final seconds, a strong spoken word sequence about being "beyond repentance."
She explained:
"This is my way of saying 'I've already crossed the line. I won't even try to repent.' Nor should I."
so no word on Judas pv release yet? I thought it was supposed to come out today.
