Lol, yeah for the studio it certainly is.
Depends on the way you look at it, I guess. I tend to compare minis to singles (K-pop has done that to me XD) and found I'd rather pay 1,800y for 5 new songs than 2 songs, two instrumentals I'll never listen to and a DVD I'll rarely watch. Especially in Ayu's case, since her music videos usually end up on the album DVD anyway. A mini-album system would work for me since I usually get the CD only but for others who buy the CD/DVD it would definitely break the bank.
