I noticed that when I'm listening to western music I'm more picky than with jpop or kpop. Maybe because it's more understandable to me (I mean english and italian music. Even a little of spanish music
just 'cause it sounds like italian lol) so I wanna listen to something with good lyrics. Not just party-sex-love ones.
Usually I listen to rock, metal, celtic, folk, indie music, classical, pop-opera and so on. And my favorite western artists are mostly from 30s to 70s lol.
I'm not a crazy wapanese who thinks Japan > the rest of the world anymore though. Wapaneses thinks that whole western music it's just what radio plays. That's not true, of course. Every country has their good music and crappy music, even Japan.
