I voted Ayu, but I think that namie amuro (even though her voice gets autotuned and edited like **** on some tracks) and Utada Hikaru (simple and clean /hikari FTW) deserve the 1st place too.

And she sounds fantastic live. You try dancing your butt off and then popping out some of the notes she has to and then you'll understand.
