I don't have a lot of CD's although I love buying CD's. It's just that I don't want to spend my parents' money, I'd rather do what I want when I'll have my own money, quite soon.
Anyway, I have them on a shelve, quite like
indyplus, with some decorative colorful things around, I place them on the same shelve as my drawings and my erhu ! I like to make my collection as pretty as possible, bc it's the only I can make my room attractive
And when I feel like, I take one of the CD out and place it in front of the others, in a way I can see the cover.
