If I recall correctly, Onyanko Club served as the inspiration for Morning Musume and pretty much every single idol group that's been created since. But I've checked out none of their stuff yet. Need to rectify that.

Right now I'm checking out a new Avex idol group called
Fairies. They're young but they aren't typically cutesy or funny, their debut single ("More Kiss") has a cool traditional R&B sound to it:
^This is "Song for You" the second A-side that has more of a rock vibe to it. I love the dance, lol.
