I listened to it again...and well...
I like the melody of the song a lot for the most part, and I do like the feeling of the song. I mean, I AM a really big R&B fan, and I do listen to songs like this...
But I still can't get over Ayu's parts in it. They're the worst melodically, and her vibrato is so incredibly awful...she just does not go at all. ew /shudder She completely ruins the song.
I'm starting to think the mismatch between the synth track and the beat track was intentional...I mean, seriously...I doubt Nakano is THAT stupid and rhythm-challenged...I think they liked the "off" sound.
I guess I could see now though both why people hate it, and why people would like it.
If the song gets more people introduced to R&B, and maybe have a new appreciation for it's relaxing and smooth qualities...I won't be complaining.
