Makoto Yoshizumi (Tales Series Producer) confirmed via twitter that Tales of Xillia officially the most pre-ordered Tales game ever. Back in July, the game had already topped 80,000 pre-orders. Retailer promotional materials from Namco Bandai listed an expectation of 200,000 pre-orders, which would put the game above the 140,000 pre-orders for the PS3 version of Vesperia.
Just random calculation, yeah, just random, and minimum.
AHS singles purchase count
MOON/blossom = 160 (first week sales 70,568)
crossroad = 135 (first week sales 73,691)
L = 180 (first week sales 70,715)
Based on this VERY-RANDOM-and-UNREASON calculation, the sales on AHS is 168. Thinking that ayufan is declined each every release, it safe to say that FIVE will sold at about 70,000 first week. Yeah, because 5 tracks is not gonna satisfy ayufan, somehow...
But what about if 1/6 of Tales of Xillia preorder also buy FIVE limited (which make the limited edition #1 on amazonJP for some weeks)? I put 1/6 because I saw one seller in Indonesian forum that try to preorder Xillia and FIVE when he's going to Japan this week, I saw that he already sold 12 copies of XIllia, and 4 copies of FIVE. It's 1/3, but I decrease again to minimum number, 1/6.
200000 / 6 = 33000 more copies of FIVE.
It's about 103,000 copies first week, yeah, if ayufan counted it as a single, not album. If ayufan in Japan/Overseas counted it as an album, the calculation will be more than that.
