Disappointments..well, I've been a fan since 2005, so I've seen a few of her eras at least. I guess I'm most disappointed by the lack of quality in her remixes in the last few years, and Acoustic Orchestra versions. The more recent ones, although still pretty, just cannot compare with older mixes, especially the Acoustic Orchestra. I think an exception to this is the LOWBROWS remix of Microphone, for me anyway.

However, I'm happy she still includes these different versions. I would of thought AVEX would of cut them out entirely by now.

I guess other things would just be nitpicking..the S/S covers, as other people have said, just because she looked so beautiful in Bali and then those were the covers that were released. I'd love to see the outtakes from that photoshoot, lol~ Uhm, other things I guess...I guess just that Ayumi seems to cling onto the same composers and staff for as long as possible. It's good that she seems to get along with them and have a good relationship with them all, but the end result is a lot of her songs sounding similar in her latest works since..2008..? eh

And not Ayumi specifically, but I was really disappointed, and still am, with the Ayu fandom when she got married lol
For years they were all "I want her to be happy! To be married, settle down.." but as soon as it happened some people went ballistic..crazy.

For a twelve year career, having only these 'disappointments' is quite impressive. To those saying this thread is depressing, I think it's not really, and I'm really happy it's not dissolved into drama yet I do appreciate Ayu's highs more than her lows..there's a thread recently concentrating on her positively, so I'm gonna go look at that now
