Well, from a vocal perspective, I think people look back on some eras and they remember her performances as much cleaner vocally and they 'sounded' better but I don't really think that was true for the most part. She did really well in like 2003-2005, I guess, but I recall always reading people's comments saying that her voice sounded 'off' for X performance during that period of time just as they do now.
