The marriage was valid in japan, but only stays valid for 3 months unless she filed additional papers with japanese government, if she didnt it was anulled on 4/1/11. Thats why when i heard reports of a japanese tv show saying it was either faked or divorced early, i tried asking questions in lots of places. The last 2 weeks of February had me wondering already, the daily posting of pics as a couple stopped very sudden.

Either way I'm sure Ayu still considers herself married no matter what archaic Japanese law dictates.
