I am not a fan of Uncharted although I've enjoyed both games. Now if you do your research you will see that Bayonetta was an epic fail compared to it. Now I've completed over 400 games since I was 5, so that kinda gives me around 20 years of gaming experience, it's not that I am talking out of my ass here ^^

Sorry for being off topic, but gaming is my field of knowledge~
A review is basically an opinion... an opinion given (sometimes) by a specialist, still, a opinion... Famitsu reviewers having a different gaming taste than yours (being it by cultural differences, expectative differences, or even for being a game genre that appeal more to them than to you) don't make them sell outs or anything like that...

Famitsu was first released on 1986, considering how much perfect or almost perfect scores they gave over those 25 years, they at least seen to really hard to please.

BTW, I really enjoyed Bayonetta... fun and intuitive gameplay, beautiful graphics, catchy music and cute girls... Even if I do agree it wasn't praised by everyone, most of the games on the perfect score lists are pretty much well known for being considered to be among the best...

Games are not my as much my thing as they seen to be yours, anyway, unless we start talking about fighting games...^^
