She's cancelled twice in the past 3-4 years, and that's quite unacceptable for Japanese standards. Playing on Music Station is kind of like an honour, so if you cancelled, it's not so good, for whatever reason. Another artist could have had their shot at performing. And I'm pretty sure, but I can't remember who, that there was an artist before who cancelled 2 or 3 times, and they were never seen on TV again because they couldn't be trusted.
THAT'S why the fans are upset, because they're afraid of this happening.

oh my, I hope it won't happen  seriously, I'm worried about it now... But she had only 1 cancel in the past, when she injured her hand, right? and no more? 
it doesn't seem like she'll perform beloved at MSta eventually.. she's now focused on her tour (again t.t)
