We can't blame anyone, they are getting popular because of the music, performance, trend, or maybe fashion. They sure working hard for this, so basically Korean artists are great, and they could bring something fresh and captivating to recent music market, so the news about Kpop has been spread quickly all over the world and many people love them instantly.

What bothers me the most is the fans, seriously.
I meet some people who think that Kpop music is something like saviour from heaven that will bring you to paradise, very godly and feels like the fans can't live without it. Seriously people? Most of Korean artists are talented, I can't deny that. But many people usually talking about their looks and appearance instead of their performance or talent.

Sometimes the way how they behave towards Jpop is really... really ridiculous.
This is the only thing that I don't understand at all, why they become so biased? I don't want to judge those people by saying they're changed because of Kpop, because I still know some people that respond to Jpop music and Kpop music fairly. What I'm saying here is "SOME of the fans" not "ALL of the fans".

Anyway, I think you should be patient in this case, Jpop currently are just minority, probably.
Don't be ashamed as ayu fans, or any Jpop fans. As for me, popularity doesn't mean everything, as long as their keep working hard building their career, someday they also could reach that level of popularity. Even if they couldn't reach that level, I think there's nothing wrong with that, enjoying music doesn't need that kind of 'superficial' thing, I guess.

Ok, sorry for this long post.
you're so right. Sometimes, it's not KPOP's fault. The problem lies with the fans...

Just to share with you guys, as the saying goes, Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new.
