I kind of thought the same thing about the old songs being on BUBBLEMAN ENGINE...they sound really out of place, especially Hangover Payback BIG TIME. I think the overall vibe & style is different & they really don't belong on the new album. Honestly...I kind of just see them as filler material, which just comes across as laziness to me
. I mean I know it takes a lot of time, effort, & money to produce new songs, but it's an album so yeah naturally it's going to incorporate all three. It's funny because I think the OKay single sort of signaled a new era for MAA...I felt it was a bit different from the previous material she had released, especially due to the fact that the OKay single seems to fit in perfectly with the new album's other songs, or at least imo they do.
