Thank you! I totally agree! Ayu doesn't really have that rock edge compared to real rock artists. But that doesn't mean she have good rockish songs in her discography.
I hope she continues the Crossroads/Virgin Road sound (and nothing except progress and brilliante from Five). Those songs sound mature, powerful, well-put together, and somehow they sound new.
Or she can go back to generic summer singles and winter ballads and random fall/spring singles. (I'll cry at first, then love it later on.)
Either way, I'm totally excited because this is the first time since A song for XX, that a whole album is put together cohesively. Usually in her normal release routine, the first single stands out of place from the album material. For example bluebird/BF in Secret, glitter/fated in guilty, Days/Green in Next Level, S/S in RnRC, & Moon/Blossom in Love songs.
