No they don't mean higher positions, the sales of EVERYBODY improve, not only Ayu's.
Positions are in relation to others, higher sales only improve positions, when the sales of the others stay the same.
When others' sales improve, too(and that happens when counting more stores, those stores don't sell exclusively Ayu), the positions stay around the same with some possible fluctuation depending on which markets the stores supply but they
do not generally go up.
