Healing time depends on loads of factors, how well you look after it once it's done, how much you use that area of your body etc, and the skill of the tattooer. I had mine done over three sessions, each two weeks apart. I think two weeks is sort of average time, but mine healed up quicker than that. The guy who did mine was amazing, and I went overboard with the aftercare cream they gave me and literally every time I felt like I wanted to scratch it I just covered it in the cream, so I would advise using after care as much as you can. I found the healing really easy to deal with, the actual tattoo hurt a lot, but I think that's because lying still on a table for three hours at a time thinking about pain makes your body get so worked up. I was more exhausted than anything else after each session. But, so glad I did it!! Good luck with yours, kumiko.koda. What is your design going to be?
