^ ^ I can see your point, but I think her fans just want the best for her. I think most just phrase their opinions wrong and come across too strongly on the Internet Some people may find Mannie unattractive, and always thought she'd be with someone they found attractive to make a power couple. Most thought she'd get with someone Japanese too. Their shock at her decision can come across badly, especially to people who are more laid-back in regards to her personal life decisions.

I'm not too bothered as long as he isn't a total idiot who insults her in public etc etc. He seems like a nice guy who works hard and stays out of the limelight. Jeez, the guy is now married to a superstar and he hasn't attention-seeked in the slightest. Whether their marriage is working or will work long-term are common subjects to be brought up, but the bottom line is we'll never know and we don't deserve to. Ayu - and Mannie - deserve privacy.

@Emiko: I'm not hating on anyone who's negative, I just want to point out that their opinions are just ones that have been repeated for what seems forever and it doesn't lead to a very interesting discussion. And yeah, she's a celebrity with her life up for scrutiny, but it doesn't mean every detail needs to be looked at with a metaphorical microscope
