what I mean is Leslie Kee want to innovante about the posture of the model. When he made a photo for a magazine, his work stay classic. But that kind of books is more his own book & it's why he want to do something else that nobody make before him. He does it as the pictorialist or others artists did before him. I compare his work to others contemporary art that are often provocative.

My first sentence was just a little joke to introduce my historian view & not my own taste about them.
I wasn't really judging your tastes in any way O_o I thought you were saying you were surprised people were shocked because of the nature of the photos.

And well, idk I think that is probably shocking to some people, but I don't think that's the issue in entirety with why people don't like them.



Maybe it's what andrenekoi said up there. The feminism is just, not my taste I guess. Because to me, his body is just weird in those poses...and his facial expressions...

idk in my own personal opinion, Mannie is just not a very good model at all. So I suppose Leslie did pretty well with he could with what he was given.
