While I'd say that it seems to be her second most consistent album next to BEST~ss~, I wouldn't exactly rank it her second best at this point. Then again, that's only after the first listen and not in order (since the order on the DVD is by genre). I'm sure it will grow on me with time. At least I can say for the first DVD and amazing packaging alone, I don't regret the purchase.

The songs simply did not grab their attention in any way shape or form. It just seems with each new album she releases the more discontented I become.
Yes, yes and yes. The only songs I feel the want to listen to are Love Technique, No Man's Land, and IN THE AIR. For me, the one's I love aren't even some of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES (besides IN THE AIR but that is a single track). This album is just so boring for me because of this.

They clearly did put a lot of effort into production though. I mean, the photoshoot was amazing, the arrangement and overall quality of the music was great (despite the songs themselves being blah), they went all out with the packaging and having high quality PVs for every single track... So what exactly was avex's strategy here by having so little promotion? They basically shot themselves (and Kumi) in the foot by putting ALL THAT EFFORT into this album and then hoping it would sell itself. What a bunch of idiots. avex should no by now promotion can do wonders - I mean, look at how much the promotion for BEST ~first things~ and the 12 singles project affected her career. Not saying she could ever attain that kind of peak again since she was very FRESH yet, but she still has the power to impact the market with promo. But I guess it is hard to say without the Japanese perspective.
