I don't think this contract is a rumor. This is totally Hollywood style.

While this is done a lot in Hollywood, it's probably the reason why the rumor popped up to begin with. I don't think that it means anything though. Whenever any high profile celebrity breaks up with a significant other, things are going to be said and people are going to speculate. Just because others have gone through X or Y, it doesn't mean that Ayu went through it necessarily.

It does prove also, like emi said, that she unfortunately doesn't really trust him.

A rumor doesn't prove anything. If this were true, it would prove a lot. There was probably some sort of agreement in the divorce contract but I doubt he had to be paid off to keep quiet. I don't think he seems like the kind of guy who would blab about that kind of thing anyway. There's a possibility he could let something slip one day, but until that day comes, I believe he'd be a better person than that. Interesting that he seems to have done some work in Japan post-divorce.
