But it's definitely possible. While no one in the states would care, Asian media outlets would pay huge amounts of money if Manny were to talk to them. So while I don't think they ended their marriage in a malicious way, settling their divorce with a paid promise doesn't seem too far fetched. I don't think it's saying Mannie would do this, but rather, if her -were- to do it he would face consequences so instead, take the money in a lump sum.

I mean, they both got married knowing that Ayu is a millionaire pop star and Mannie, well, isn't haha. I think it would be smart of her to do this, but of course we'll never know the truth.
