My current ones:

+ Tsuyoi Hakanai Monotachi - Cocco ("The strong and ephemeral [fleeting] ones")

It's a sad song, but I just love the riffs she has in it. And the lyric about "but when you pass through the arch of flying fish" gives me goosebumps. Her lyrics are exceedingly dreamy.

+ Free & Easy - Hamasaki Ayumi

This song was one of the most inferior tunes by Ayu, I used to think. I honestly thought it was just one of those transition pieces that mixes her styles. It was sort of like a reject from "I am..." in my eyes. But when I started really listening to the lyrics and listening to the way she sang--especially LIVE--I fell in love with this song. I cannot get enough of listening to it as of late.

+ Daybreak (H/\L's Mix+Original)

I get two different feelings from these songs, because of the arrangements. The first one is dreamy and sweetly sad. Ayu longingly says, "Don't forget that there are those who love you." In the original mix, it's more about affirmation. Confirmation. "You DON'T have to worry." The same lyrics, yes. But I feel the inflection is different. It's strange how the arrangement created two songs. It really did.
