KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya attends a production conference for his starring play, “DREAM BOYS”
On June 29th, KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya (26) attended a production conference for his starring play, “DREAM BOYS” (to be held in September, produced and written by Johnny Kitagawa), in Tokyo.
This musical has been held almost every year since 2004 and this year, Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yaotome Hikaru (21), Kis-My-Ft2 members Tamamori Yuta (22), Senga Kento (21), and Miyata Toshiya (23) will also be featured in this stage play.
Regarding this play, Kamenashi commented, “This will be my first stage play where all the co-stars from Johnny’s Entertainment are younger than me.” He continued, “This year’s musical will feature an all-star cast so I look forward to each of them to contribute their ‘special abilities’,” and raised the hurdles for his younger co-stars. Kamenashi will also do some aerobatics in this play and regarding this, he confidently stated, “I am ‘kakkotsuke man’ (a man who shows off) so, I want to make sure I perform moves that will be labeled as ‘cool’,” and gave something for people to look forward to in this play.
