Ayaka performs in her hometown of Osaka
On July 25th, singer-songwriter Ayaka held a performance from her nationwide tour, ‘The beginning ~Hajimari to Toki~‘, at Osaka-jo Hall.
Due to Grave’s disease, Ayaka went on hiatus in 2009 after her stage on NHK’s ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen‘. About 2 years later, the singer came back with a brand new album and tour.
Returning to her hometown, Ayaka called out to the crowd of 12,000 people, “I’m home! I’m finally back to this place. I’m extremely happy to see you all.” She gave a big smile as her fans warmly encouraged her saying, “Welcome home!”
Ayaka performed a total of 19 songs, mainly off of her latest album, “The beginning“. Her husband, actor Mizushima Hiro was also spotted watching over her from the audience.
