Singer Sen is mostly described as "alternative", "ambient", "indie" etc, and she has a killer voice. MAA is an Japanese indie artist, who used to be part of the J-Rock band MarBell, but is now a solo artist making pop/electro music. She has two albums out and has a great, distinctive style and..unique lyrics.  I love her to pieces~
MADEMOISELLE YULIA is a Japanese DJ who released an album earlier this year. It's really catchy, I'd probably label it as J-Pop..but with electro/club influences? It's so...sassy. Lol. Full of attitude and is really fun to listen to. 
Sorry if you don't like them, but uhm, I hope you do! Some of their songs are hit and miss, but they're all underrated and not very well known I guess. If you don't like them much, I'll recommend something different.

KOKIA is just so amazing, she has to be one of the best singers in the world. I wish she was more popular in Japan though. I'm listen to some of Eiko's stuff now and wow...
