Tokyohive - Sugawara Sayuri to release a new album in November

Sugawara Sayuri will be releasing her second full album (currently untitled) on November 14th.

The album will include a new song titled “Koi no Mahou“, which has been chosen as the theme song for the movie, ‘Bingo‘ (opening in theaters on September 22nd). ‘Bingo’ is based on novel by Yamada Yusuke, and it’s set sometime in the future where a death sentence is determined by a game of bingo played by the victim’s family. It stars Shimizu Kazuki and Matsui Sakiko (AKB48).

“Koi no Mahou” is described as a number that expresses one’s feelings for an important person. The track list and other details on the album will be revealed at a later date, so stay tuned!

Agreed with Utena that I also really cannot wait for her new album. I just checked CDJapan and heard there's going to be 14 songs, like her first album - "Sayonara Mata...", "Forever...", "Habataku Kimi e" (no "Asu ni Naru Mae ni" single in this album!!!), the cover of Sukima Switch's "Kanade", and (even surpising!) the Sunya collaboration song "Zutto Zutto Futari de...", plus five new songs that have yet to be announced (I think it's going to be announced next Wednesday, October 3rd, possibly with the cover), and the previously mentioned "Itsunohimo", "Koi no Mahou" and special versions of "Kimi ni Okuru Uta" (acoustic) and "Sunao ni Narenakute" (piano). I am sure cannot wait for this...

...because like Utena I just pre-ordered mine tonight! Second-ever online from Japan order of a new CD, and now I'm patiently waiting for that album - just wait until November! Now all I need to worry about is my schoolwork - but my Japanese class sure had quite some fun!

(On another note, I also ordered Yanawaraba's "Yui ~Best & Collaboration" 10th anniversary album on the same order as Sayu's new album, and on a different note, if I had a preference between Ayu's "mini-album" and Sayu's new album, I'd pick the latter...)
