totally THIS. even if he did, if he in the first place fallen in love with Ayu, one can asume the love/fire betwean hiswife and him was long gone. Cuz u won't be looking at someone else if you have feelings for the person
but it does seem that tablouds just wanna bow it up to the point of exploasion, even if half of the crap they say is basicly old stories and made up things. *shrugs*
