Although her sales have been declining for awhile now, this certainly may be a large contributant to her sales being lower than we expected for the mini-albums. If her Japanese fanbase felt that all of the songs were going to be released on the next studio album, many of them probably decided not to purchase them until the announcement of the next studio album. Hopefully this means that we'll see better sales for "LOVE again". However, I do think that Avex should work on cleaning up their reputation. If they've been regarded as a dirty company, it certainly didn't stem solely from the release formats of "LOVE" and "again". Maybe Ayu didn't have as much say and control in this as some may have thought she did if this is a practice that has been done with other artists under the label.
