i admit that when i first found out i was a bit ticked off but I'm behind it.

tbh im kinda excited cuz of the photo book. I've always wanted an ayu photobook. i missed my chance twice already and now i get one! yay! (im also not paying for it, so I'm even less angry. its a gift for ANNIHILATING that damned syntax course )
I don't post on here usually, I just like reading the opinions of other Ayu fans, also you guys whinge an awful lot and it bums me out so I don't like being involved. Anyway just thought I'd put in some positive input from the endless negative *****ing which seems worse than usual.

I'm not angry. I own all of Ayu's albums and 85% of her singles in physical form (mostly first press japan releases back to 1998). Been collecting for maybe 5-6 years now, started listening to Ayu maybe 10 years ago. Just started ordering in the magazines from my local bookshop when she does spreads. I collect many of my other favourite artists too but not as many releases as ayu obviously.

I am quite happy she is releasing a full-length album. What do you guys expect with the old tracks being on a full album, of course since they were really maxi singles; you should know avex tactics by now. I think there was just a mix up in the translations since few of you guys really speak japanese from what I gather... I'm excited about the photobook and new tracks. I love this little series of releases. Quit whinging, if you are downloading it illegally and a large portion of you are, then honestly you have no right to cry.

My opinion to the previous posts about fandom.

To the "poor" people whinging they CAN'T afford releases. I can't afford them either, I'm just as poor as you! I've gone without food for days. Maxed out my credit card many times. I just moved and had all my savings cut out to buy new furniture and such, yet I still found a way to buy the albums. Most recently cut out my morning coffee (which I need so bad honestly, I fantasise about it before I even go to sleep at night), that's $4.50 a day. I was a week late with my rent to pre-order the first presses before they sell out (check on amazon JP you guys who can't find them CDJapan or YA). The landlord won't care so much if it's only once and you get yourself something which makes you feel happy.

Yes it's true you can be a fan without buying EVERYTHING as there is an awful lot she releases. but really if you are as dedicated as much as I try to be you will cut the McDonalds, clothes you never wear, phone apps and the rest of the crap you don't need to support a wonderful woman.

Once you look into your budget and see what you spend your money on you will realise how it isn't difficult at all. Also look at the Hong Kong or Taiwan releases they half are the price, I buy these for other japanese artists. They are just the same, except Japan versions are for collectors I guess, YA ships free to many locations and has massive sales this time of year.. actually party queen is on there right now for 35$, add yourself a cheap single and you have a nice Christmas gift for 45$. Also amazon japan does used versions for sometimes 80% discounts in perfect condition. Ebay has some wonderful stuff from Japan too. Be careful what you buy on there though.

40$ a year for an album is not hard (can you spare 11c a day?) and it makes you feel great knowing you support someone legally. Advice from me, if I love something I'll buy it!
