I do not see anything depressing about her career. Depressing would be if she went crazy after her decline in sales and stopped making music. She is still making it for her fans. Will she ever have a "comeback" ala Namie (Namie was rock bottom before her comeback)? Who knows. Honestly as long as she makes music for her fans that is all that matters at the end of the day. She will be like Matsuda Seiko & Madonna. Her albums may not sell terribly well, but she will always be "known" and sell out tours for the rest of her career
