I like it when cover songs aren't exact remakes of the original song and bring in the personal style of the artist who does the cover - but this doesn't mean I want Kuu to turn all of those great songs of J-Music history into dull standard club songs or R'n'B tunes. I mean, what the hell happened to "Pink Spider", "Shake Hip!", "One more time, One more chance" and "Otoko"?

In general I like it that Kuu fans are always so happy about all the stuff she releases, but a little bit more criticism and less seeing things through rose-colored glasses would be nice too from time to time.
I don't like the originals asides from Pink Spider, because I personally have no interest in 80s or 90s JPOP. If you do, and don't like Kuu's versions, that is fine. But I like Kuu's versions because I like her style, so naturally, I am going to like that she has made covers into her own sound, because that's the type of music I like, instead of the original sound I don't personally like, and it's the same for everyone here. You're assuming that people like them just because kuu has covered them and not for the songs, because you don't personally like her versions? That's pretty assumptious, don't you think? It couldn't just be that being people that love Kuu's music, they are naturally going to also like her covers as well? No, of course not.
