This album is excellent though, so I don't just put credits to it being "oh, it's Justin Timberlake". Apple made a complete album free listening preview when it was still up for pre-order and I put it to play just out of curiosity, but not really expecting much tbh (I just wanted bakground music to study)...however, I was really amazed by every track on it. It was long hours of really enjoying what I was listening. In the other day, I decided to play it while my bf was around doing some work on the computer and, he's really not that well informed into american music (i doubt he can remember any JT song from memory, and he was really not aware it was JT playing, and he probably just associates JT with N*Sync fro memory), so after a couple of tracks he asked "Who's that? Those songs are so good! Really nice", so his opinion was really unbiased lol. I'm already awaiting for my CD to arrive.
But I understand what you mean that, had it been someone with less fame, this album would probably have gotten lost into oblivion, since I actually got to preview the whole thing because of the publicity.
