Credit cards are not horrible. I have had one and use it for everything but I only purchase groceries and stuff and then I have it set up to withdrawal the full balance from my bank account each month. Credit cards can be great if you use them correctly; I have great credit because of this and I also accumulate points which I have used to get things such as free hotel rooms and free CASH!
