Like 90000% agree with this. I was never really a fan of Namie's album/single shoots (I absolutely *love* some, don't get me wrong, but others are just eh), but this one killed it. Every picture is beautiful and so simple. Pretty much Namie's essence in a nutshell.
Totally agree with the Uncontrolled thing too. I loved the whole billboard painting thing and how they incorporated the eclipse (basically the whole concept was p cool) but the final thing was just... not great. You're totally right with the lighting thing, too. It's even a pain to edit because it's so unflattering.
Have you done a fake cover with that shoot yet? I'd love to see one with proper editing

Yessssss I miss fierce!Namie. Her image is sort of in the middle of cute and cool right now and it just needs to go with full-on cool. I'm missing that Hip-Pop swagger lately.
Isn't it? I really liked the outfit and concept of the booklet, but some of the pictures were taken at odd angles and all that, and they just looked sort of unfinished. I really really like what this mag shoot has done with it! She looks much better
