My copy just arrived! I've been steering clear of this thread because I didn't want to see any pictures of the packaging beforehand...UGH I wish I had been spoiled. GOLD's 1st press digipak was so beautiful I was expecting something similar. :'( All of my tears for daaaaaays. Better a slipcase than nothing I guess.
Honest to god tho, that font was fine (sort of) to use to write out her name and the album title on the cover, but seeing it used to write out the entire tracklist on the back of the slipcase makes me want to stab my eyes out.
No opinions on the new music yet, I haven't heard any previews and I'm listening to the album now, and have only made it to Best Partner (whyyyyyyyyy is this song so flawless?!?)
EDIT: Oh my god, this album is bumpin'. I'm less disappointed than I thought I would be about the lack of new album tracks because everything is just so cohesive and fantastic.
Realize is probably my favorite of the new tracks, and I really enjoyed "I'll be there"--I thought it finished the album off on a nice note. I'll be listening to this quite a bit over the next few weeks, I can tell!
