What's wrong about writing lyrics about things that have actually affected you? Would you guys prefer people to write typical boring "I'm in love with you~" type pop songs?

I have nothing against Utada writing a song about her mother...but right now it's almost painfully awkward to talk about for me, since it's only been a few days since we saw her almost crying in the car on the way to her mother's cremation. Nothing really wrong with discussing it I guess, but for me it's a little too soon to start hoping for new music from her, especially for music about this tragic event.
