I'm gonna say my honest opinion on what we've got so far:
1. MV is certainly fantastic and one of the best ever released by YG. a lot of symbolism, meanings and references to his career, media, himself and even his love life. to see the MV meaning explained in detail go here

2. The music (the first part of the album that has 2 title tracks) is very....lacking. nothing revolutionary and ruins the atmosphere that got created by the MV. nothing revolutionary, rather recycling, boring, unoriginal and non-emotional. really utterly dissapointing
after we got that many legendary BIGBANG hits thanks to GD and his two equally good albums, we get this really bad stuff. I honestly think that the reason for this is his touring since the beggining of the year, I can see him being tired, thanks for putting the effort in the MV though, it's mesmerizing.
and one more thing - the title tracks are so weak it hurts
if GD wanted to make Coup'd Etat he did it for me in a way that he completely messed up my opinion of him being the 100% perfected musician and turned it 360 degrees the opposite. in the music he has become too usual
I can feel him being tired
you can say I can't judge by only the 1st half of the album, but I can already feel the flow and overall music quality
now I'm scared of BB album coming in November being a huge fail, God no
TEDDY has also lost his abilities to find good melodies and sound to create hits, obviously, wonder how much the new 2NE1 album will also suffer because of that
YG got too much swag in their heads - plain stupid. it's like they're degrading. quite much. I hope they get rid of it. GD has no more swag MVs - thanks -but the music is still this style which means - too plain for my liking
