For some reason I think Avex didn't force her to release anything. Maybe they just discussed it at the office and Ayu decided to release a single herself. There might be a sadder song on the single if she was forced into it... or maybe I just want to think Ayu decided it herself. :p
And if Ayu starts to release singles again, she could do like Namie did with FEEL: one physical single (Big Boys Cry / Beautiful) and three digital singles (Contrail, Hands on Me and Heaven) were released.
