Agreed. This is also one of the reasons I jumped "My Queen of JPop" ships. Ayu has made some pretty epic songs, but I find that they are all within a certain sound. She does try out other sounds, but they are never as good as what she does in her comfort zone. I really appreciate that she tried out R&B on FIVE, I do. I personally like Ayu's R&B songs a lot. She has taken the genre and made it more like her and I love that. To me her R&Bish songs has always been in Top 20 of my favorite Ayu songs to date and it's a shame that there's not so much of those in her discography. I really think the genre fits her very well.
