Everything you read on forums is just that, stuff on forums, with no basis whatsoever. It's completely made up drama from immature fans that want to cause drama.
Ayu has said that she respect Namie on twitter (a long time ago) And Namie has been spotted at ayumi's tours more than once.
Honestly my opinion would be that they probably don't pay attention to each other at all, and I don't mean that in bad way, I imagine that they're in completely different worlds.

In japanese culture when someone says とんでもない。尊敬する大先輩ですm(_ _)m which roughly translates as she's my senior and I respect her then a bow emoticon "m(_ _)m " it usually means somehting more than "i'm not interested in her"
