it is indeed higher quality, and there are even ways to rip it at a high quality but it's so expensive. The record itself is in quite a price range depending on the rarity. The Sakura Drops record cost me around $80. The record player I own was bought from Craig's list for around $575. I'm at my dorm right now and I left it at home which is a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I am, but I think it's a Technics SL-1200MK2. The needle cartridge it came with cost an extra $75. Also you need a phono pre-amp to hook it up to your computer to rip it or else you won't hear anything, and a cheap/low quality one will cost around $50, a high quality one will cost around $400.
I have everything but the phono-preamp. As soon as I get the money for that, I'll be able to rip all my records in flac. I have a nice little collection of stuff.
here's a snippet of the official version. It sounds like a Planitb remix.

I'd love to, but not til I get a descent phono pre-amp. If I'm going to share the holy grail of rare utada music, I want it to be high quality.
