I don't see what Namie is doing that's avant garde. She's the epitome of riding that "music of today's teen generation" and copying other styles.
I hope she never does avant garde crap. I want catchy powerful and well produced music. Ai Otsuka did some avant garde shit when she was declining and that material was a complete flop.
