^ You can find CDs of all states of conservation at Book Off, some are pretty much like new (those usually are like half or a third of the original price, but might be even a bit cheaper), and some are in ok state (much much cheaper). There are some older CDs that are in an ok state that they sell for something like ¥250 (and that includes some pretty rare stuff as well!), that's why I love Book Off

I suggest looking at the Book Off stores in Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and maybe Akihabara, those are really big, so it's easier to have whatever you might be looking for. But there are Book Offs everywhere in Tokyo.
Hm... tbh I only went to Tower Records once and didn't see any of those deals (at least not for the stuff I bought), so I don't know if they have those kind of deals. But at Tower Records for sure you can find Ballada with the digipack packaging (and maybe even some others), there I was able to find some pretty old limited CDs that I thought were completely sold out, I was quite impressed.
